Shuttle Driver
Welcome! We appreciate your interest in becoming a UC San Diego student shuttle driver and providing a valuable service to the UCSD community. Only safe and reliable drivers need apply.
First, please read Student Shuttle Driver Requirements, as described in our Career Services Center job posting. If you choose to apply for a student shuttle driver position, download our application.
Before submitting your application, you must obtain a DMV printout of your driving record, also known as an H6. You can pick up the printout, which costs $5, by visiting your local DMV office. (You may schedule an appointment first or download the request form (PDF) and mail it with your payment.) Keep a copy of the H6 for your records.
Submit your application, original H6 printout, a copy of your class schedule and a signed copy of Student Shuttle Driver Requirements to the Shuttle Training and Safety office, in the trailer north of Building D in the Campus Services Complex (see map). Park in lot P510 or take a shuttle to the Canyonview stop. Look for the buses parked nearby.
