Shuttle Driver
Welcome! We appreciate your interest in becoming a UC San Diego student shuttle driver and providing a valuable service to the UCSD community. Only safe and reliable drivers need apply.
First, please read Student Shuttle Driver Requirements, as described in our Career Services Center job posting. If you choose to apply for a student shuttle driver position, download our application.
Before submitting your application, you must:
- Complete UCSD’s online sexual harassment prevention course (if you haven’t already). The course should take 20–30 minutes. Print your certificate of completion.
- Obtain a DMV printout of your driving record, also known as an H6. You can pick up the printout, which costs $5, by visiting your local DMV office. (You may schedule an appointment first or download the request form (PDF) and mail it with your payment.) Keep a copy of the H6 for your records.
Deliver all these documents to the shuttle operations trailer (map):
- Signed application (PDF)
- Sexual harassment prevention course completion certificate printout
- Original H6 printout (PDF)
- Copy of your class schedule, and
- A signed copy of Student Shuttle Driver Requirements (PDF)
